This past Saturday I had the opportunity to attend my first photography workshop hosted by Jack. The flashbulb event was held in Chicago and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. After a week of rainy, cold weather, I was getting alittle worried, but the sun shone brightly and temperatures were in the 60's! Jack is a great photographer, and I enjoyed learning from him and observing his style of shooting.
Some portraiture practice::
So glad my sisters were able to come along and model for us!
Jack.
You can view his pictures here.
So glad to have been able to meet Emily, Jack's sister;
she is alot of fun and a great subject!
Jack gave us a few challenges:
A "car" shot
Reflection shots
A food shot
Hancock tower shot
Architectural shot down the Chicago river
Resting after standing in line over an hour to get to the Hancock observatory...
Some well-worth-it shots:
It was a great day full of laughs, good times, new friends, and fun-filled memories!
