After taking a two week "sabbatical" from blogging, it is so very good to be back home. We had a wonderful time vacationing on Tybee Island; to describe the place in one word would be...BLISS.
I took 500 pictures, and it will be hard to choose which ones to post on here. Even the pictures, could not even come close to giving full justice to the beauty of the island...
But, before I get into our vacation, I have an announcement...
See this beautiful young lady?
...my littlest sister...
the baby of the family...
She is a senior in high school this year!!!
I can't believe how old she is getting...
I was able to take a portion of Lauren's
senior portraits while on Tybee...
But... this post is not entirely about her pictures...
My sister is officially....
a LICENSED DRIVER!!!
WARNING::: KEEP OFF SIDEWALKS
You forgot to add how our intelligent little sister, with her licence, continually asks, "Now, is the gas the left petal or the right one?" I just keep shaking my head and wondering, "How in the world did she pass?" J/K Lauren ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all...Lauren is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! These are amazing senior pictures, what a great idea to take them on the island!!! :) Second...wow...is she really driving?! From what Brooke shared in the comment above..I am really thankful I am 2000 miles away! ;) love ya Lauren!:)
ReplyDeleteRe: Brooke's comment above, my family always teases me about the time when I was learning to drive, and approaching an intersection, I asked, "Is that red light for me?" I understand, Lauren!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are beautiful, Nicole! And did you make the keychain? Where can I get one like it? Very nice!
Thanks! And yes I made the keychain, if you look on my etsy shop (see sidebar) I have a couple on there. Or if you have a request of colors or sort, please let me know and I can make you one! Beading is lots of fun and I find it relaxing. :)
