Delicous Autumn!

{Last week my family and I took an afternoon walk on the trails at Chellberg Farm.  I had been longing to get some autumn photos so I was quite delighted that the whole family wanted to come a long.}

Why Autumn is my Favorite Season::
  • Crisp mornings
  • Sipping hot tea all day

  • Leaves fluttering on my windshield
  • Stews and soups
  •  Scarfs and boots
  • Harvest moons

  • Pumpkin rolls & Carrot Cake
  • Crunchy leaves

  • Fall mums
  • The pumpkin patch

  • Cozy sweaters
  • Curling up with a good book

  • Counting my blessings
  • More time with family

  • Fresh apple cider
  • Fall decor

  • Nature walks
  • Caramel apples

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

  1. These pictures were so beautiful!! I felt like I was looking in a magazine! :) I think it meant even more b/c I can picture actually being at Chelburg! Thanks for giving me a little taste of Autumn...that season doesn't exist out here! :(

  2. Here either! :( The leaves basically turn brown and fall off. I enjoyed your pictures so much as well! First of all- they are GOR-GU-OUS!!!! And they bring back so many memories. Remember our photo-session there? Hahahaha- climbing over that barb-wire fence, laying on the ground with our heads together, sitting on the funky old log? Remember running it when we trained to climb Pikes Peak? :) Miss you guys so so much! Love you!!!!

  3. How ever could I forget, EJ?:) Everytime I am there I can always see the four of us rambling about, laughing and making memories. As for the Pike's Peak workouts...I think I have blocked those days from my memories.;)
    Miss you both, can't wait to see you at Christmas!
